The Llancahue Project is located within the Talca Belt Prospect Area, near the town of Talca some 300km south of Santiago, Chile.

Until recently, the Company had a Joint Venture partner who undertook to drill 7 reverse circulation holes. The first 5 holes drilled were distal to a known copper occurrence and tested areas of outcropping alteration with anomalous soil geochemistry. These holes intersected diorite with propylitic alteration. The sixth hole was drilled in the area of the copper occurrence and was lost due to poor ground conditions and the last and final hole intersected 100 meters grading 1.375% Cu, 0.015% Mo and 3.8g/tAg. Mineralization is hosted by brecciated diorite, with moderate to strong potassic (silica - K-feldspar, biotite) alteration, disseminated and veinlet chalcopyrite and bornite.
